CESS Project Development

Continued the development of the v0.4.0_alpha version (the first version for internal testing), progress in developing the proof of Data Reduplication and Recovery mechanism and the EVM virtual machine integration, blockchain network, and JS SDK modules.


1.CESS Blockchain: 

  • Added the file-map pallet test unit to obtain the consensus account generated by the current block in the Hook.


  • Optimized the way of calling helpers among pallets in Substrate, which means decoupling calls among pallets through trait.

  

2. Development components 

  • Successfully code-tested the functions in the JS SDK, including price inquiry, purchased space lookup, file information queries, files upload/download, file deletion, storage space purchase, and faucet usage. 

  

3. Ethereum Virtual Machine

  • Added 10 packages related to frontier to node's dependency list.


  • Added EVM genesis configuration in the virtual machine chain_spec code.


4. Proof of Data Reduplication and Recovery

  • Added the file_chunk function module to the Kaleido code base and added the function of generating key pairs and digital signatures in the SGX environment.
