CESS Project Development
1. BSC Chain continues being optimized.
Fixed the bug that the scheduling nodes did not reset computing power. The bug was that when the storage miners chose to quit mining at the front end and mined again after the cooling-off period, the scheduling node did not reset the miner's computing power.
Optimized code logic for confirming miners’ online/offline status. The recent online/offline timeslots and offline penalties will be recorded in the database when multiple consecutive offlines with only one penalty.
Fixed the code that miners exited but without getting the locked rewards.
Fixed the errors that the miner’s verification space is larger than they claimed.
2. CESS Chain
Successfully passed the W3F Grants Milestone 2 and started preparing for W3F Grants Milestone 3.
Fixed the bug that the 512M data segment in the CESS chain v0.1.2 version could not be verified correctly because the verification node's cess-ffi library version is inconsistent with other miners' version.
Designed the CESS chain v0.2.0 version development plan and the first draft of CESS LAB website.
Preparing materials for SBP pitch, completed the SBP milestone documents.
3. The CESS LAB team exchanged their experience and future plans in the Polkadot Hackathon interview.
CESS Community Activities
1. The internal test of the CESS decentralized storage system based on the iterative version of the Binance Smart chain Testnet ran successfully.
Activity link:(https://www.cess.cloud/)
Total reward: 3,000,000 CESS Tokens
Current participating nodes: 274
2. CESS announced winners of the airdrop event for internal test miners.
CESS airdropped a fixed amount of tokens to CESS qualified miners who participated in the internal test in the early stage. The event ended on 31st Dec 2021, miner winners announced on 5th Jan 2022.
