CESS Project Development

Completed the the development of CESS v0.3.0_alpha

  1. Blockchain Network (CESS), completed functions including miner exit and free storage space for new users; completed the process documents which contain output miner exit, miner deposit retrieval, and incentive mechanism.

2. Decentralized cloud storage system

- CESS-portal:

  • Optimized the downloading module,

  • Added several unit test code,

  • Fixed the progress bar function.

- CESS-bucket: completed the files reading and writing process logic for the scheduling function, and the integration of rpc code and some initialization work.

- Cess-scheduler: completed the logic of user files uploading/downloading processes.

CESS Community Activities

1. The internal test of the CESS decentralized storage system based on the iterative version of the BSC testnet ran successfully.

Total reward: 3,000,000 CESS Tokens

Current participating nodes: 291

2. On March 10, 2022, CESS co-founder Jessie Dai was invited to attend an online event Cointelelgraph and discuss the topics of decentralized storage and NFT on Twitter Space with guests. Jessie assured that NFT would lead to a new wave of crowdfunding due to the socializing attribute of the NFT market and the tendency for more complex and creative NFTs. As an inseparable component of the Web3 infrastructure, CESS is a highly secure and reliable decentralized cloud storage network that can support large-scale decentralized data storage. CESS’s Proof of Data Reduplication and Recovery (PoDR²) secures the decentralized storage of NFT’s digital assets. CESS Multi-Format Data Rights Confirmation mechanism (MDRC) and multi-level encryption technology provide data traceability and confirm data ownership, preventing data tampering on the blockchain.

3. On March 11, 2022, CESS Marketing Lead Molly Zhang held an AMA with the topic "How CESS Sets Itself Apart from Competitors?" on CESS's Telegram community. Molly listed the pros and cons of the current decentralized storage protocols and analyzed how CESS's proprietary technologies can solve all the existing problems and shortcomings in decentralized storage. The scalable CESS network can adapt to the ever-changing data storage needs, ensuring a prosperous future for the project. The powerful outcome from technological implementation and project execution extends its application possibilities and excavates new opportunities in all businesses.
