Weekly Highlights
1. 2800 storage nodes and 17 consensus nodes registered with 21.36 TiB verified storage space. Details.

Project Development Details:
Consensus Miner
Completed the development of several functions such as scheduler IP verification and data upload, including:
Completed the development of the scheduler IP verification and location analysis functions.
Completed the upgrade of the scheduler registration function and the development of progress checking function for file uploads.
Completed the development of CESS v0.6.0 scheduler data upload function.
Storage Miner
Researched on the implementation scheme of the distributed storage system based on SGX storage nodes.
DeOSS (Decentralized Object Storage Services)
The development of file upload function and progress tracking function has been completed. Details:
Completed the development of the progress tracking function of the entire file upload process in OSS.
Completed the development of CESS v0.6.0 OSS data upload module.
Proof-of-Storage Mechanism
Completed the code implementation of storage certificate library, SGX signature and chain verification. Details:
Improved the Golang code implementation of the MHT tree.
Researched the use of Gramine to develop SGX, and successfully generated enclave signature information and certificate content.
Researched and implemented the verification code for the signature and certificate generated by SGX on-chain, and the verification has been successfully completed.
Completed the Golang version code library for the four implementation algorithms of the proof-of-storage library. Conducted a comparative test. The test results–the verification of a 512MiB file completed in milliseconds, proved high efficiency of the developed private certificate library and RSA public certificate library, met the POS requirements of CESS v0.6.0
Other
Substrate browser optimization: Added the monitoring function for mining reward transactions, and the verification has been completed.
Testnet
Overview:
17 consensus nodes and 2800 storage nodes registered with almost 21.36 tib effective storage space within 25 days after the v0.5.3 testnet was launched. More details on the blockchain explorer.

Event:
The miner reward event for the CESS testnet continued as storage and consensus miners can earn points by participating. Points can be exchanged for CESS tokens when the mainnet launches. Click here for details.
