​​​​CESS Co-FounderWill Attend Duke University Digital Assets Seminar

Nicholas Zaldastani, the co-founder and chairman of Cumulus Encrypted Storage System (CESS), will participate in the Digital Assets at Duke seminar held by Duke University on campus on January 20th — 21st in Durham, North Carolina. Guests participating in this event include officials from the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Goldman Sachs, Galaxy Digital, Web3 projects Uniswap, Coinbase, Binance, and blockchain intelligence analysis company TRM Labs.

Digital Assets at Duke ([email protected]) invited key industry players, regulatory experts, and researchers in the digital asset space to have discussions on the development, delivery, and governance of the next generation of digital asset environments.

The two-day conference, hosted by Duke Pratt School of Engineering and Duke Financial Economics Center, will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions, and introduction of academic papers about digital assets. Speakers and participants will explore new frontiers in digital asset development, investment and regulation. Topics will cover topics of NFTs, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, stablecoins, central bank digital currencies, and more.

Nicholas Zaldastani will talk with Elliot Lewis (Keyavi), Matthew Price (Binance), and Ari Redbord (TRM Labs) on the topic “How Blockchain Builders Build a Safer World” at 9:15am EST on Jan 20th.

Nicholas Zaldastani, co-founder and chairman of CESS, aspires to provide the next-gen of global decentralized data cloud storage services for Web3. CESS can provide large-scale, secure, high-performance storage for enterprises with high-frequency trading needs. Its decentralized cloud data storage network can better meet the development needs of Web3. Nick is currently focusing on developing CESS with its mainnet launches in 2023.

As a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Nick has led and invested in companies specialized in distributed computing, encrypted information and data storage, cyber security, and mobile applications. He specifically supported the growth of Oracle, SABA, Open Horizon, World Energy Solutions, Salary.com, and BrainTap.

His professional affiliations include board leadership at Duke University Engineering School, World Energy, The American Academy in Tbilisi, and Dr. Oz’s HealthCorps. Nicholas received his M.B.A. from Harvard School of Business and a B.S. in Engineering from Duke University.
